About This Role
This position will design and implement an executive communication program for the leadership of Commercial Real Estate (CRE), one of the core businesses of the Corporate & Investment Banking division. The individual contributor in this role will work closely with the leader of the business, and the COO as well as the leadership team to drive employee engagement and business results. This position will also serve as the media relations strategist and liaison for the business. The position will be located at
150 East 42nd Street in

In This Role, You Will
- Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic counselor to the leadership team
- Design and execute a media relations program that promotes business priorities and reputation of the business
- Pitch and respond to reporters from national print, newswire, radio and broadcast media outlets
- Develop and implement an annual communications strategy to establish the message from the head of CRE to employees
- Identify executive advocacy, external speaking and/or social media opportunities
- Write and edit, talking points, social media submissions and content to inform target audiences
- Work with the leader's direct reports to ensure their messaging ladders up
- Track and measure results to ensure they are in line with intended outcomes
- Partner with communicators to ensure alignment of communications strategies and messaging

Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience developing integrated communications strategies for Commercial Real Estate clients
- Experience counseling executives on high profile issues and delivery of internal communications
- Experience designing executive thought leadership platforms
- Experience securing media opportunities with national or trade media outlets
- Experience building strong relationships and collaborating across large organizations
- Experience presenting information that persuades, and enhances understanding at all levels
Office Location & Pay Range:
- 150 East 42nd Street - New York, NY ($133,300 to $237,100)
