Make an impact
Bridge is hiring an accounting analyst III or an associate I to work with our fund accounting team. The accountant will prepare financial statements for the fund and its investment entities and work with the fund controllers to manage the fund operations. The accountant will be dealing with funds under our debt strategies vertical. The primary responsibilities of the accountant will be to:
- 2-3 years in an accounting role, fund accounting preferred
- Maintain fund accounting databases.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of general journal entries
- Daily/Monthly/Quarterly reconciliation of investment positions and fair market values
- Calculate and record fees / Book accruals and expense items
- Interact with investment managers to resolve questions and reconciliation of differences
- Generate quarterly financial statements, accompanying notes, and supporting schedules
- Provide year-end audit coordination services
What you should bring
Candidates should be highly motivated, energetic, and savvy with demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to thriving in a fast-paced client-facing role and having effective communication skills, a successful candidate should have:
- BS in Accounting required, MAcc preferred
- Professional accounting experience (internships acceptable)
- A strong interest in private equity and a career in industry accounting
- CPA Certification preferred (or working toward CPA)
- Firm understanding of GAAP accounting concepts and principles
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong detail orientation
