ROLE OVERVIEW
The Business Manager will be a key member in the Enterprise Technology Management team. The role is highly collaborative and encompasses responsibilities from planning, execution governance, communications, financial and team management.
Responsibilities
- Team Management: Work closely withHead of Enterprise Tech to management administrative tasks across the team, driving execution throughout the organization
- Execution governance: Drive team quarterly planning process and track execution progress, highlight risk in project delivery
- Financial management: Work closely with Tech COO functions to ensure we have financials to derive Tech budget/actual and drive program/investment decisions
- Communications: Manage Enterprise Technology communications and employee engagement activities across Tech; Work closely with Tech COO to celebrate the success of the team
- Projects Management: Work closely with Head of Enterprise Tech on ad-hoc projects such as location strategy and org design
Tactical / Hands-On Responsibilities:
- Coordinating across technology to manage projects timelines and updates.
- Able to multi-task and excel in a high-pressure, fast-paced trading environment
- Work well under minimal supervision to complete projects and tasks on time
- Able to think on your own to develop quick and sound solutions to complex problems
- Work closely with technology, product, and business partners (Managers and C-Level Suite)
Qualification & Requirements
- 5 or more years work experience in business management
- Experience with MS Office especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with project management tools include JIRA and Asana
- Experience with data and visualization tools (example: Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Works well with others across an array of different subject matters
- Knowledge of financial reporting, including headcount, infrastructure and project planning and forecast
- Strong data analytics skill – able to deep dive into large data set and produce insights
With respect to NY and CA based applicants, the starting base pay range for this role is between $175000 and $225000 annually. The actual base pay is dependent upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, business needs and market demands. This role may also be eligible for bonus compensation and employee benefits.
