We are looking for a skilled and motivated Director Business Development to work with our Gen II Digital team, selling software solutions to both internal and external clients across a variety of solutions, such as:
- An investor portal that helps fund sponsors increase productivity and communicate better with their investors.
- An analytics platform that allows clients to analyze fund data across numerous metrics and performance KPIs.
- A data integration toolset which allows clients to integrate Gen II fund admin data with both in-house and third-party platforms.
- Electronic subscription software. This electronic subscription software is an easy-to-use tool for investors to quickly complete their paperwork electronically for investing in a sponsors’ fund, deal, coinvest or other types of investments.
Our software serves 300 clients with over $1 trillion of assets under management and 45,000 LPs.
Your role will be to hunt for new business, identify, qualify, and close prospects based on their investor relations needs.
Primary Responsibilities Will Include:
- Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, evaluation, closing, forecasting and CRM use.
- Effectively communicate to customers the benefits of the platform base on our client’s needs
- Manage our incoming leads from various channels, SDR, sales pipeline, improving and systematizing our sales process.
- Collaborate with various departments to maximize revenue and ensure customer success.
- Become an expert in private markets and learn the inner workings of the industry.
- Use metrics and data to continually improve effectiveness.
- Effectively communicate, with the ability to provide comprehensive investor relations solutions to prospective clients.
Job Requirements, Skills, Education and Experience:
- 5+ years SaaS sales experience in the alternative asset sector.
- Experience in developing relationships with new customers and solution-oriented selling.
- Proven history of successfully selling to the Private Equity industry.
- Proven track record exceeding sales quotas.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment and work independently.
- Knowledgeable on the KPIs used in PE investing.
- Customer focused, technical skills, professional accountability, teamwork, self-direction and emotional intelligence.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Has a strong ability to take initiative.
- Familiar with Salesforce.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with change.
- Ability to effectively work remotely.
The salary range for this position is $175,000 - $200,000, in addition to a commission and comprehensive a comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offer within that range will depend on the candidate’s experience level.
