Verition Fund Management LLC (“Verition”) is a multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund founded in 2008. Verition focuses on global investment strategies including Global Credit, Global Convertible, Volatility & Capital Structure Arbitrage, Event-Driven Investing, Equity Long/Short & Capital Markets Trading, and Global Quantitative Trading.
Seeking a motivated, solutions-oriented Trading Support Analyst with a desire to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment. In this role, you will work closely with both internal staff and our Trading System vendors to solve critical production issues for our Investment and Business teams. You will also be responsible for helping to onboard new Investment Professionals to our trading systems. The position will also have an opportunity to work on development initiatives related to our trading systems. Experience with equity and equity derivative systems is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary conduit for reporting & resolution of production issues for our vendor trading system partners.
- Troubleshoot Trading System issues and identify common scenarios that result in support cases.
- Document production support incidents and steps for resolution.
- Collaborate with trading system partners and our investment team on development initiatives and new business processes to solve common issues.
- Drive the onboarding process for new investment team members to our Trading Systems.
- Contribute to the QA & UAT processes with our technology team and user base
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience
- Understanding of trading lifecycle, including order capture & execution, allocation workflows, settlements, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Functional knowledge of common investment systems and/or asset classes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills to ensure that issues are solved quickly
- Proactive, self-motivated, and flexible with a positive attitude
- Experience with application support and vendor management
Salary Range: $100,000 USD - $150,000 USD
