Position Overview:
We are seeking 3-5 Research Analysts to join our team and specialize in different asset classes or sectors, such as equities, fixed income, or thematic investments. As a Research Analyst at Legacy Hedge, you will play a critical role in identifying and analyzing high-potential opportunities, providing actionable insights that shape the fund’s investment strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on specific asset classes, sectors, or companies to identify investment opportunities.
- Analyze macroeconomic trends, industry developments, and company financials to generate actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess valuations, growth potential, and risks.
- Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager and other team members to refine investment strategies.
- Monitor and report on market developments and portfolio positions.
- Prepare detailed research reports and presentations for internal decision-making.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in investment research, financial analysis, or a related role.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: equities, fixed income, thematic investments, or sector-specific research.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
- Proficiency in Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar tools, as well as Excel and data visualization platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field (CFA or progress toward CFA preferred).
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for uncovering unique investment opportunities.
