The Office of the State Auditor (OSA) is looking for a Staff Auditor I to work as part of the Investigative Audit Division conducting audits in compliance with professional standards, internal policies and procedures, and best practices. This position is responsible for executing the audit procedures for assigned audits under the supervision of an Audit Manager or Senior Auditor.

The Investigative Audit Division responds to allegations of improper governmental activities. Out work often results in public audit reports which may included findings of noncompliance, procedural deficiencies, lack of oversight, and administrative violations of state or federal law. - Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Governmental Auditing Standards (Yellow Book)
- Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple priorities with keen attention to accuracy and detail.
- Demonstrated experience communicating effectively both orally and in writing.
Bachelor’s degree with 24 semester hours in accounting from an appropriately accredited institution; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
