Wells Fargo is seeking an Executive Director to join its Institutional FX Sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating sales opportunities with securities clients and prospects.
In This Role, You Will
- Provide daily coverage to Foreign Exchange clients including Official Institutions, Banks, Insurance Companies, Asset Managers, and Hedge Funds.
- Identify, acquire, and grow new relationships within the target market.
- Possess working knowledge of a wide variety of FX instruments including Spot, Forward and Swaps, EM / NDFs, and FX Options.
- Work to design and implement client coverage strategies in collaboration with FX Trading and coverage partners such as FIG and GICG develop concrete client specific plans to increase market share and flow, disseminate the firm's intellectual content in an accurate and timely fashion, and assist in building connectivity between FX trading / leadership team and key decision makers at the aforementioned clients
- Work with internal partners including compliance, legal, and documentation to ensure our approach adapts to the ever-changing market structure and regulatory landscape
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Securities Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Extensive and direct coverage experience of one or more client verticals including Official Institutions, Banks, Insurance, Asset Managers, and HFs
- Outstanding knowledge of FX products and applications in the context of the above clients
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, a desire and ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners
Job Expectations:
- Ability to travel 25% of the time or as needed
- This position is subject to Dodd-Frank Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background screen. Applicants are subject to a new screen to comply with Title VII of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act which states that Associated Persons (AP) cannot be subject to statutory disqualification. Under industry regulations, an AP is defined as a team member who solicits or accepts client orders for swaps. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$173,300.00 - $359,900.00
