Purpose
In this role as a Director EES Sales you will contribute to the overall success of Global Equities teams by ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Executes all activities in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
What You’ll Do
- Sell and market a broad array of capital markets products and services to sophisticated institutional investors and broker dealers, with a primary focus on Electronic Execution products (equities, options, futures, and fixed income) for Canada, US and Latin America.
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Growing penetration of existing and new products, incorporating products into our product planning. Coordinate with Prime Services, CMF, Research Sales, Covert arb desk, Options and Cash trading desks.
- Maximize cross-sale of US EES with other businesses. i.e. partner with US (or CAD) Prime to further EES business line and total client relationship
- Increase the depth /penetration of coverage of existing and new US Institutional accounts.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AMUATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

What You’ll Bring
- Series 7, and 63 licenses
- +5 years of Institutional Sales Experience, selling to US institutional accounts
- Partnering with Institutional accounts specifically with electronic execution
- Strong understanding of buy side algo workflows and market structure
- Working knowledge of listed public companies and the economy
- Able to interpret transaction cost analysis reports
- Strong understanding of regulations and compliance
