As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will acquire, maintain, and grow profitable long-term relationships principally focused on Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) individuals resident in or with a nexus to Southern Cone (specifically Chile and Argentina). The role owner will be an exceptional team player and client focused individual. This individual will establish new relationships and manage existing relationships focused on Southern Cone to generate new Assets Under Management (AUM) and Gross Revenue.
As our Senior Relationship Manager you will:
- Combine client relationship management with strong risk assessment and management capabilities ensuring the required credit quality & requisite returns on risk
- Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
- Be a core part of our team, originating target market clients focused on investment AUM, lending, and Advisory services collaborating with US and Southern Cone network as well as developing self-sourced prospects and referral sources in Southern Cone
- Grow revenues across allocated portfolio, successfully manage and serve existing business relationships and originate new revenue streams
- Grow HSBC’s share of client wallet involving product specialists to ensure product capabilities are in line with UHNW client requirements
- Establish and maintain networks for co-operation with other HSBC businesses, to support the creation of solutions to customer needs that span geographical/product boundaries and regulatory environments
For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $253,700.00 and $380,500.00
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements
You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
- Familiarity in working with clients and prospects who are high-potential future High Net Worth (HNW)/UHNW clients
- At least 5 years of relationship management experience in the banking sector
- Proven track record in asset gathering, asset growth and revenue generation
- Excellent commercial and negotiation skills, Strong customer service focus
- Highly developed communication skills for use in direct client contact and problem solving
- Excellent understanding of financial markets and products
- Ability to provide strong financial and statistical analysis
- Attention to detail and the ability to think creatively to solve problems
- Series 7 and 66 licenses, may allow for contingency to obtain Series 7 and 66
- Bachelor’s Degree required
