The Role:
The Private Wealth Global Portfolio Solutions & Strategy team (GPSS) is responsible for launching and supporting Blue Owl’s various commercial products in the wealth channel across Credit, Real Estate, and GP Strategic Capital.
We are hiring a Vice President to help support the Credit Due Diligence team within GPSS. This role will be responsible for broad range of fundraising and strategic initiatives across Blue Owl’s Private Wealth platform, with a focus on Credit. This will include coordinating the launch of our products on large wealth platforms through investment and operational diligence processes, as well as supporting our existing partners through ongoing due diligence requests and routine performance updates. The role will continuously aim to strengthen Blue Owl’s strategic messages to both prospective and existing investors by leading peer analysis and competitive intelligence efforts across Credit offerings. The role will also be responsible for various strategic initiatives with senior management and the investment teams to support and grow Blue Owl’s credit business within private wealth.
This is a high-impact role within an entrepreneurially driven firm. A successful GPSS Vice President will deliver a strong work product with attention to detail, an eye for finding new solutions or improvements and activating them, is collaborative and has strong time management and organization skills to handle multiple workstreams. Responsibilities:
- Assist with fundraising efforts and ongoing client service through facilitating the investment and operational due diligence processes for Blue Owl's Credit products
- Organize and maintain due diligence pipeline for new and ongoing diligence initiatives across Credit products
- Develop marketing and materials such as pitchbooks, conference materials, due diligence questionnaires ("DDQs"), data-centric portfolio analysis, and others
- Become familiar with and able to communicate details around fund products and strategies including portfolio and investment level information
- Understand Operational functions across the firm, including internal processes and policies across functions and geographies
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to execute inbound investment and operational-related client deliverables in a timely fashion
- Assist with strategic initiatives to support and grow Blue Owl’s private wealth business, including preparing quarterly fund earnings presentations, aiding in new product development, and liaising with corporate development, investor relations, and investment teams on various ad-hoc projects
- Prepare ad hoc competitive, market and other analyses that underscore the firm's value proposition to current and prospective investors
- Maintain library of standard RFP responses through automated online repository
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience preferably in alternatives or wealth management (financial services experience strongly preferred)
- Data oriented with strong Excel and/or Tableau skillset
- Strong communication and project management capabilities
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast pace, growing environment while staying focused and organized
- Driven and a self-starter with the ability to execute assigned initiatives but also go above and beyond
- Intellectually curious and highly collaborative
- Bachelor’s degree required
It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New York City-based position will be $150,000 to $200,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
