In the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function we provide accurate, relevant, and forward-looking management information (MI), help stakeholders understand tactical and strategic options, make tangible recommendations, and provide analysis to influence and support business decisions. Business partnering is a crucial element.
Together with the Head of FP&A, this position will be responsible for oversight of the GSC Mexico FP&A entity team and Will provide support on ad-hoc projects to drive results. The role holder will also have significant exposure to senior management within Americas markets, regional Finance and Global ServCo management; as such, the jobholder will require a level of gravitas and credibility.
As our FPA Senior Manager you will:
- Partnering with CFOs & their directs in delivering MI and forecasting capabilities
- Supporting the team to value hunting & executive decision support capabilities
- Lead and implement strategic projects
- Providing guidance to the FP&A GSC teams and drive operational excellence across the team.
For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $141,300.00 and $211,900.00
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements
You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
- Significant knowledge of Finance processes including planning, budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis, financial modelling and management reporting
- Recognized professional accounting qualification with 10 years of experience predominantly in Finance
- Understanding of data architecture, finance and accounting systems plus reporting requirements (IFRS)
- Commercial business knowledge which includes a solid understanding of the strategic objectives of the Global Businesses and Group with ability to communicate these confidently to all stakeholder groups
- Familiarity with US accounting rules, US regulations including US GAAP is helpful but not essential
- Experience of designing, implementing and maintaining an effective control framework to ensure high quality repeatable delivery.
- Experience operating in a complex financial services organization (banking preferred)
- Execution orientated: proactive escalation of issues whilst maintaining a solution-focused mindset and flexible approach.
- Experience interacting with senior stakeholders with varying degrees of financial literacy.
- Agile, change mindset, dynamic and inquisitive / curious approach to work.
