Position Overview:
Legacy Hedge is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Investor Relations to lead investor communications and fundraising initiatives. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for investors, responsible for providing performance updates, managing relationships, and driving capital-raising efforts to support the fund’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investor Communication: Serve as the main liaison between the fund and its investors, ensuring timely and transparent communication.
- Performance Updates: Prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations on fund performance, strategy updates, and market insights.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective investors, including institutional clients, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Fundraising Support: Develop and execute strategies to raise additional capital, including organizing roadshows, investor meetings, and networking events.
- Marketing Materials: Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling pitch decks, brochures, and other materials to support investor engagement.
- Compliance: Ensure all communications comply with regulatory standards and fund policies.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, investor sentiment, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and address concerns proactively.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, or client management within a hedge fund, private equity, or financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of hedge fund operations, performance metrics, and investment strategies.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with sophisticated investors.
- Proficiency in creating and delivering presentations, as well as managing CRM systems and investor databases.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
