Job Description: Americas Head of Benefits, Wellness, and HR Policies
As the Americas Head of Benefits, Wellness, and HR Policies, you will play a critical role in developing and overseeing employee benefits programs, wellness initiatives, and HR policies that prioritize and enhance the employee experience. You will work closely with HR teams, senior leaders, and external partners to design and implement strategies that promote employee well-being, engagement, and satisfaction in the Americas region.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive benefits strategy and wellness programs that align with the unique needs of our high-touch environment and promote employee well-being.
- Oversee the design, administration, and communication of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies, and other related benefits.
- Collaborate with external benefit providers, brokers, and vendors, ensuring seamless service delivery that meets the specific needs of our high-touch workforce.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and regulations in the Americas region to ensure compliance and adapt benefits and policies as necessary.
- Lead the development and implementation of wellness initiatives and programs that address the unique challenges and demands of a high-touch environment, fostering employee well-being and work-life balance.
- Partner with HR teams to develop and implement HR policies that reflect the values and goals of our organization while supporting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Provide guidance and support to HR teams, ensuring their understanding and adherence to benefits and HR policies specific to the high-touch environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective communication and education strategies, ensuring employees understand and utilize available benefits, wellness programs, and HR policies.
- Support the recruiting process by advising potential new hires on complex medical coverage issues
- Manage all aspects of the annual renewals and lead the U.S. Open Enrollment Benefits communication strategy, including maintaining plan documents, summary plan descriptions, communication materials and required legal notices.
- Monitor and analyze benefits utilization data, trends, and costs specific to our high-touch environment, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and enhancements to services.
- Ensure HR policies are designed to address the unique needs of our workforce, providing guidance to managers and employees on policy interpretation and compliance.
- Champion a culture of employee well-being and engagement in supporting and retaining our talent.
Requirements
- 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. A relevant master's degree or professional certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in benefits management, wellness programs, and HR policy development, specifically in a high-touch environment.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs, wellness trends, and HR policies, with a deep understanding of relevant laws and regulations within the Americas region.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing comprehensive benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies, and wellness initiatives.
- Familiarity with benefit administration systems and HRIS platforms (Workday preferred but not required), with the ability to leverage technology to streamline processes and enhance the employee experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret data and metrics to drive informed decision-making.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team and drive results in a fast-paced, high-touch environment.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
