The Corporate Communications team manages the global reputation of Point72 and all related entities. The team is responsible for all aspects of corporate communications, including media relations, external and internal communications, digital content and distribution, and brand management. We’re a small, collaborative team that works closely with Point72 senior management, functional leaders, and all departments firmwide. Our group is always up for new challenges as we help support an exceptional variety of groups, projects, and products in partnership with our colleagues across businesses and the globe.
What you’ll do
You will play a key role in the Firm’s overall communications strategy and have day-to-day responsibility for supporting external communications and media relations for Point72 Asset Management. You’ll work closely with the Co-Head of Corporate Communications to manage a robust public relations (PR) program that protects and enhances the Firm’s reputation, supports the Firm’s strategic business initiatives, and positions the Firm as a destination for top talent. Specifically, you will:
- Contribute to the development and execution of integrated, strategic communications plans that support business goals and enhance the Firm’s reputation with key stakeholders
- Help with the planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of media relations, executive visibility, and thought leadership programs
- Research, prepare, edit, and maintain various communications materials including press releases, briefing documents, talking points, and other materials
- Support media engagement efforts by building productive relationships and dialogues with relevant press contacts
- Manage media monitoring, measurement, and analysis
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support issue response across communications channels
- Stay closely aligned and collaborate with the broader Corporate Communications team to ensure that all communications strategies and messages are integrated, consistent, and aligned with the Firm’s strategic goals and objectives
- Identify and keep up with trends across media landscape, including paid/owned/earned media opportunities, reporter moves, etc.
What’s Required
We’re looking for a strategic thinker with deep interest in communications and public relations. You’ll need to be a true team player who is intellectually curious and has the desire to constantly get better. You’ll also need:
- At least five years of experience working at an agency or in-house PR role
- Excellent research, writing, and verbal communications skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize projects and effectively manage multiple deliverables
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
- An open mind, positive attitude, and the commitment to continuous improvement
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

The annual base salary range for this role is $145,000-$165,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
