Vice President, US Investment Grade Credit Sales, RBC Capital Markets, LLC, New York, NY:
Responsible to develop and maintain client relationships with an assigned client list. Manage risk in accordance with RBC desk policy. Maximize the amount of profitable business that managed accounts do with RBC. Learn about all aspects of the client’s business and uncover revenue-generating ideas. Market RBC’s new issues and trading strategies to Investment Grade clients. Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to business activities. Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks identified to line manager and the relevant risk and control functions promptly.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, $225,000.00 per year.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, or a related field and 3 years of work experience.
Must have 3 years of experience in the following:
- Corporate Bond Markets;
- Bloomberg trading system;
- Trade processing and settlement;
- Portfolio Management; and
- Credit Strategies / Analysis.
Must have 2 years of experience in Credit Markets.
Certification: Must have FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
Travel: International travel required up to 10%; Domestic travel required up to 10%
The base salary for this job is $225,000.00 per year. This salary does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
