SUMMARY
Administers third-party fund manager and direct customer account transactions. Handles the set-up of new third-party fund manager and direct customer accounts. Assist in the handling of corporate action service for third-party fund manager and direct customer accounts.
JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Administers daily account transactions including:
(a)Handles customer inquiries (investigate and resolve discrepancies) in a timely manner;
(b)Resolves all matters regarding customer instructions and account information between customers and Bank departments;
(c)Handles receipt of manual customer instructions;
(d)Assist in monitoring receipt of corporate action instructions, including those according to standing instructions;
(e)Handles trade status reporting provided to customers.
2.Handles the set-up of new third-party fund manager and direct customer accounts and obtains the required account opening documentation.
3.Maintains relationships with customers.
4.Maintains all files, records and accounting reports in proper order.
5.Acts as support and back up for the Department Manager.
6.Assists the Department Manager in special projects.
7.Performs all BSA/AML assigned duties as listed in the “Amended and Restated Policy Regarding Opening, Monitoring and Closing of Custodial Accounts” as found on Employee Access.
8.Provide high quality work by enduring accuracy and seeking to continuously improve our processes and platforms by embracing new and better ways of doing things.
9.Performs all functions as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
·Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business or Economics.
·4 – 7 years experience in security operation, specifically global and domestic custody operation and/or customer service experience.
·Good understanding of technical aspects of custody process, specifically corporate actions.
·Good oral and written communication skills.
·Good math skills.
·Good PC spreadsheet and word-processing skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
·Occasional lifting of heavy files and heavy boxes when sending files to outside storage.
