Founded in 2008, Hightower is a wealth management firm that provides investment, financial and retirement planning services to individuals, foundations and family offices, as well as 401(k) consulting and cash management services to corporations. What You’ll Do
We are looking for a successful Associate who is a multi-tasker at heart, has strong communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset that succeeds in a fast-paced and evolving organization. You have strong interpersonal skills and years of experience managing the administrative and operational workload of a private wealth management business. You should find it easy to build partnerships with others, be accomplished in prioritization and time management, and have a willingness to learn.
This position requires the willingness to work a flexible schedule and be in the office Monday – Friday between 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
- Perform client onboarding functions, including account opening, asset consolidation, and online services setup. Prioritize and organize the workflow and serve as the point of contact to guarantee a seamless transition.
- Provide top-quality service to clients and facilitate operational tasks (i.e. cash movements, address change, beneficiary update, tuition payments, charitable donations)
- Compile a tax support package for clients and accountants that includes 1099s, K1s, and a list of expected documents.
- Ensure accuracy with diligent follow-up on all client and Financial Advisor requests.
- Achieve proficiency in relevant technologies including Fidelity’s Wealthscape, Charles Schwab Advisor Services, Black Diamond performance reporting, and Salesforce.
- Prepare presentations in advance of client meetings.
- Maintain client records and files following regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Schedule client meetings and coordinate the team’s calendar.
- Provide phone support for multiple Financial Advisors.
- Offer administrative and office management support to the team.
What You’ll Bring
- 5 + years of experience in Financial Services
- Fully registered (SIE, Series 7 and Series 66)
- Previous work experience as a client service associate or related title at a financial services firm or Registered Investment Advisor (RIA)
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and organize workflow
- Professional verbal and written communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment
- Ability to acquire a working knowledge of the portfolio of accounts
- Self-starter and able to work independently
- Superior interpersonal, organizational, and client service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned
