Your Future Team
The Product and Vendor Management (PVM) team serves as internal subject matter experts and primary contacts for third-party products, tools, and services such as trading and rebalancing platforms (Black Diamond, Tamarac, Moment), SMAs, turnkey asset management programs (e.g., Envestnet), and research tools like Bloomberg and Morningstar. We cultivate relationships with leading providers, partner with internal and external stakeholders to introduce new products and continuously enhance offerings for Hightower advisor practices.
What You’ll Do
In this dynamic role, you will drive organic growth opportunities for existing advisor practices, support onboarding of products and tools for new M&A deals, and act as a liaison between Hightower’s third-party providers and the financial advisor community. You will also collaborate cross-divisionally with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Operations, Investment Management, and Technology to ensure seamless integration and ongoing improvements.
- Serve as subject matter expert and primary point of contact for financial advisors providing proactive and reactive product-related support.
- Proactively support and engage with advisors and vendors to facilitate daily operations, configuration, and workflows of trading tools, rebalancers and TAMPs.
- Collaborate with the Capital Markets Desk to provide support for fixed income trading, including transition planning and customization.
- Support PVM colleagues in evaluating and onboarding solutions and play a pivotal role in contract and service level negotiations with new and existing vendors.
- Support PVM colleagues to improve business processes and functions, including M&A-related integrations.
- Maintain timely, accurate and complete PVM administration tasks, including user lists and permissions, due diligence documentation collection, regular data aggregation and trend analysis.
- Support PVM colleagues in integrating Advisor Practices into the Hightower Signature Wealth ecosystem by coordinating solution changes and vendor alignment.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- 3-5 years of full-time work experience in wealth or investment management, with a strong preference for prior experience working with RIAs and/or broker dealers and third-party custodians (e.g., Fidelity, Pershing, Schwab).
- Experience with trading, rebalancing and TAMP tools.
- Ability to quickly build credibility and rapport with third parties and financial advisor community.
- Strong drive, proactive mindset, outcome and detail oriented.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (excel skills a plus) and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with ability to adapt to different audiences.
- Active Series 7, 66 (63/65) licenses (or required within 6 months of hire); additional industry designations (CFP, CFA, CAIA, CIMA, etc.) are welcome.
