The Opportunity:
As part of Hamilton Lane’s Global Private Markets platform, the Real Assets team is responsible for the management and execution of all aspects of our investment programs within real estate, infrastructure and natural resources including managing products and assisting with investor relations with our clients based around the globe.
As a Product Specialist - Real Assets/Infrastructure Investor Relations, you will serve a cross-functional role responsible for providing portfolio and market analysis, supporting fundraising activities, assisting with ongoing portfolio monitoring and providing investor communications to maintain and support our Infrastructure Evergreen product solution. You will be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, be detail-oriented and operate in a fast-pace and deadline-driven environment where priorities often change.
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Support global fundraising efforts for our infrastructure evergreen products, including overseeing the creation and maintenance of quarterly reports, presentations, investor letters, distribution notices, portfolio analytics, private placement memorandums, pitch books, fact sheets and fundraising letters
- Oversee product compliance including proper documentation of processes and procedures
- Assist in building and maintaining relationships with the investor community
- Develop and provide compelling quantitative and qualitative support in the pursuit of new business opportunities for new and existing clients (e.g. pricing models, portfolio return simulations, opportunity pricing, and competitive positioning)
- Provide ongoing support of product management including frequent interaction with other Hamilton Lane groups including Legal, Accounting, Reporting, Marketing, Compliance and senior management
- Provide support to Portfolio Management and Investment teams’ activities including providing frequent communication regarding fund positions and fund in/outflows
- Responsible for post-investment transaction responsibilities for active portfolio companies such as monitoring, valuations, reporting, and follow-on due diligence
- Responsible for work process oversight and development of the Product Management Analyst team
- Assist Team in creating the firm’s materials for the Annual Investor Meeting, our most significant client event, via frequent meetings and interactions with members of investment team and senior management
Your background and skills will include:
- College degree (B.A., B.S. or B.B.A.). An advanced degree, MBA and/or CFA/CAIA is preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience with significant client contact.
- Experience in Real Assets and Infrastructure
- Highly motivated and organized; detail-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
- Ability to collaboratively work with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively identify challenges and offer solutions
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
