The Opportunity:
As an Associate within our Venture and Growth Equity Team, you will assist the deal leaders in sourcing, evaluating and managing venture and growth equity investment opportunities (funds, co-investments and secondaries). The role will also include aspects of portfolio management, client communication and business development support.
Your responsibilities will be to:
- Support all aspects of venture and growth equity investments, including funds, co-investments and secondaries.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including financial analysis, market research, and competitive assessments.
- Take a meaningful role in leading due diligence meetings with General Partners and management teams.
- Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations to support decision-making process.
- Assist in sourcing new investment opportunities and managing investment pipeline.
- Support the management of existing investments by monitoring performance, analyzing financial reports and tracking updates.
- Assist in preparing and presenting client materials.
- Manage day to day communication with General Partners.
- Assist in the management and training of Analysts.
- Oversee special projects including, but not limited to, industry analyses, specific geographical studies, marketing materials and strategic deployment plans.
- Stay current with industry news, emerging technologies, and market dynamics to provide actionable insights.
Your background will include:
- 2-5 years’ of related experience.
- Strong interest in venture and technology investing.
- Excellent knowledge of, and demonstrated experience with, analytics and qualitative factors crucial to venture and growth equity investment diligence.
- Undergraduate degree required.
- Thorough knowledge of Excel (modeling skills), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- Strong initiative and independent performance are imperative.
- Ability to present and defend opinions and investment theses.
